Scott Smrkovski is quickly becoming recognized as one of the nation’s leading innovators in the HR industry. With more than 25 years of executive management experience, Scott is the CEO and principal visionary behind the unprecedented growth of leading PEO and national human resources firm, INFINITI HR.

Experience as both a motivational speaker and corporate trainer, Scott is adept at providing scalable solutions in the areas of payroll, human resources, risk management, employee benefits, insurance, recruitment process outsourcing, and franchise solutions.

Under Scott’s leadership, INFINITI HR has become an IRS Certified PEO, a seven-time member of the Inc. 5000 Hall of Fame ,and The Washington Post’s 2019 Top Workplace winner in Washington DC.

In addition to being the CEO of INFINITI HR, Scott is the managing partner for Grand Slam Investments. He has two teenage children and resides in Damascus, Maryland with his wife Kristin.

Mark Schwaiger

Managing Partner & Chief Experience Officer

As the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of INFINITI HR, Mark Schwaiger is a driver of company culture and adept at creating a genuine connection between employer and employee. Often referred to as the Chief Fun Officer, Mark is regularly planning social activities and outings for the company and competing in the organization’s annual chili cook off. A champion of INFINITI HR’s Dream Manager Program, Mark is invested in helping members of the team chase their dreams both in and out of the workplace.

Featured in Washington Business Journal, The Washington Post, and SmartCEO Magazine, Mark brings substantial operational and sales experience to help INFINITI HR clients manage critical human resource functions. In his role, he assists in the areas of organizational development, strategic planning, employee relations, branding, leadership training, and coaching. With more than 20 years of executive management experience, he has founded several professional employer organizations as well as Grand Slam Investments. He is one of the founding members of GoBundance—a mastermind group of high minded, goal-oriented individuals looking to grab life big.

Mark began his professional sales career at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) and then helped start Baltimore-based PEO Human Resource Technologies. After growing their sales to 5,000 worksite employees, he transitioned to Paystaff where he lead the sales and sales management until 2008.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and sales from Frostburg State University and a life and health insurance license in 16 states. He resides in Marriottsville, Maryland with his wife Patty and their three teenage girls.

Daniel Mormino, MBA, CFE, CMHS

Senior Vice President

Daniel Mormino is Senior Vice President of INFINITI HR and co-founder of The Professional Employer Organization for Franchises®. Daniel leads strategic management for the firm, including national alliance, sales divisions, business conversions, operations and corporate sponsorship. His career spans two decades as a disruptive innovator in SMB aggregation. Daniel scaled a professional employer organization to help businesses prevent the pitfalls of employer liability and the obstacles to organic growth by leveraging the economies of scale of a large enterprise into a competitive advantage. He represents thousands of franchisors, multi-unit franchisees, business development executives, and investors within a diverse cohort of established and emerging brands nationwide. He is proud to support the need among businesses to attract and retain top talent, increase operational efficiency, mitigate employer liability, and reduce the aggregate cost of labor.

Dedicated to the things that haven’t happened yet and the people who are about to dream them up, Daniel is known as the leading change agent in the PEO industry. His leadership by design empowers a diverse cohort of businesses to innovate and create opportunities for talent to discover what’s next. As the co-founder of the INFINITI HR Franchise Division, National Alliance, and President’s Club, Daniel is a frequent featured speaker at many industry conventions.

Daniel is awarded the highest honors for professional excellence in our industry. As a Certified Franchise Executive and Certified Master Hotel Supplier, Daniel is the first PEO executive to sit on the Supplier Forum Advisory Board of the International Franchise Association (IFA.) He also serves as an ambassador to emerging franchisors and is recognized for his continuous support of franchise-friendly candidates for federal office.

Daniel started his career as an assistant in motion picture production. His on-screen credits include Mission: Impossible II, The Hulk, and Academy Award® winner Almost Famous. An avid dog lover, he is proud to support foundations dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals. His ongoing philanthropic efforts also include AIDS LifeCycle, The Michael J. Fox Foundation, and the High Five Grant for Moms.

Daniel is an MBA; he holds a Franchise Management Certification from Georgetown University and is an alumnus of Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Daniel and his wife, Ariana, reside in Phoenix, Arizona.

Vice President of Operations

Rob Blunt

Vice President of Operations

Rob Blunt brings more than 32 years of PEO experience to INFINITI HR as the Vice President of Operations. He started his career with Insperity (formerly Administaff), first as an independent agency owner for eight years and then as district manager of the Washington DC office for four years. He then started PEO Consulting Group and spent 18 years doing training and consulting to more than 100 professional employer organization (PEO) clients. Most recently, Rob helped build a business development infrastructure based on a human capital management technology offering for an HR outsourcing firm that had been acquired by a nationwide P&C agency.

Having held a diverse mix of strategic, leadership, and consulting roles, Rob excels at keeping various departments and functions focused on the same goals and on the same page; bridging gaps between sales and service in favor of improving quality control, job satisfaction, and client service.

As the Vice President of Operations for INFINITI HR, Rob reports directly to the CEO and collaborates with all internal teams and leaders to offer ongoing support that improves communication, accountability, and work flows across the company.

Rob has been a frequent contributor to PEO Insider and a regular speaker at SHRM and NAPEO conferences. He is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and a former officer in the Navy’s Nuclear Power Program, serving tours on both a cruiser and an aircraft carrier. Rob has two grown daughters and resides in Millersville, Maryland with his wife Margaret.

Vice President of Risk Management

Jack Straughan

Jack Straughan is passionate about helping companies with risk management and creating a safe work environment for employees. He brings more than 30 years of risk, safety, underwriting, and business process improvement experience to INFINITI HR as VP of Risk Management. Specializing in professional employer organizations, he is an agile leader with demonstrated success driving opportunities for business growth, process improvements, and cost savings.

Before joining INFINITI HR, Straughan spent 24 years at ADP TotalSource where he most recently was director of risk management. In that role, he oversaw carrier selection, managed payments to the workers’ compensation carrier, established the audit and policy management departments, and managed the drug free workplace program. 

Straughan has an MBA from Georgia State University and holds a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University. He loves fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and dogs. He and his wife Kelley have four grown children, and they reside in Georgia.

Dawn Cloin

Vice President of Benefits

Dawn Cloin brings more than 20 years of demonstrated orderly benefit program implementation experience to INFINITI HR as the vice president of benefits. A veteran in the PEO space, Cloin has held key benefit and healthcare roles for professional service organizations across the nation including Trion Solutions, Inc., Assured Source, and Administrative Employer Services. Most recently, Cloin was the benefits manager for International Automotive Components Group based in Southfield, Michigan. 

She has held a diverse mix of strategic, leadership, and client-facing roles, and is an accomplished entrepreneurial director. She excels in leading teams in comprehensive benefit administration, onboarding, legal compliance, operations planning, billing, enrollment, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) system implementation and application. 

As the vice president of benefits, Cloin will report to Rob Blunt, INFINITI HR’s vice president of operations. In this role at INFINITI HR, Cloin will oversee the company’s employee benefit programs and management of all employees in the benefits department. She will be leading a team of six and will collaborate in conjunction with the implementation team and various other internal teams to follow compliance guidelines, ensure standard operating procedures are in place and being met, and manage client expectations. 

Cloin attended Baker College in Michigan. She has a son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and another grandchild on the way. She currently resides in Tampa, Florida.

Senior Vice President of Sales

Jeremy McNamara

Jeremy McNamara brings more than 22 years of experience in the PEO industry to INFINITI HR as senior vice president of sales. With a proven track record and reputation of developing and implementing effective client HR solutions, McNamara is leading national expansion initiatives for INFINITI HR from the company’s new Denver office and reports to CEO Scott Smrkovski. 

In this role, McNamara is responsible for expanding the company’s client base nationwide and is opening offices in new geographic markets through channel development and direct sales to deliver and support new clients. He utilizes his relationships in the PEO industry and experience with recruiting, hiring, training, and effectively managing a sales team to identify business opportunities, plan sales strategies and programs, and develop strong sales producers and third-party referral channels.

His previous experience and leadership roles include co-founder of Dallas-based TrueHR, Regional Vice President of Sales at SOI (Strategic Outsourcing Inc.), and Regional Vice President of Sales at Payroll Solutions. McNamara is also a small business entrepreneur, having served as co-founder, owner, and manager of The Meatball Kitchen from 2017 to 2019 and owner of VIIfifty34 since 2016.

McNamara and his wife, Renee, reside in Denver where they enjoy the scenery, golf, cooking, and keeping up with their son who attends Texas Tech University and daughter who resides in the Galveston area.

Becky Jacobs

Rebecca (Becky) Jacobs celebrated her two-year anniversary with INFINITI HR as the director of payroll operations in September. She has spent 30 years doing payroll, the last nine of which were in the PEO space. 

In her role at INFINITI HR, she oversees the payroll department which includes garnishments. The department continues to grow with a goal of providing excellent experiences. Jacobs is adept at working cross-collaboratively and communicates in tandem with the tax department.  

On her experience at INFINITI HR, she is used to working hard as payroll never stops – there is always a commitment to make the client’s life easier and more efficient. Her favorite part about being associated with a PEO is that she can work for several clients at any given time instead of doing payroll in-house for just one organization.  

“With a focus on retention, I really like to bring that high-touch customer service experience,” Jacobs said. “As a leading payroll processor that also administers benefits, offers insurance, helps with taxes, etc., we offer a personal approach to doing business. At INFINITI HR, we will pick up the phone, we are going to respond, and you ARE important to us.”

Jacobs has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a graduate-level accounting certificate from The University of Baltimore, Merrick School of Business. She resides with her husband in Pasadena, Maryland with her children, five dogs, two cats and 10 chickens. She is a mother of six and has six grandchildren.

Risk Manager

Colleen Sklamm

Colleen is the risk manager of INFINITI HR, bringing experience from the commercial real estate market in property and casualty insurance coupled with more than a decade as a business owner in Baltimore City. A dynamic, licensed professional, she started her career as a political affairs specialist working alongside federal lobbyists in the health insurance industry. She possesses excellent project management and interpersonal skills.

For INFINITI HR, she manages insurance procurement, develops and implements risk management and compliance policies/procedures, and provides recommendations regarding selection of policies. She oversees the management of claims and litigation on behalf of INFINITI HR customers.

Colleen has a bachelor’s degree in music performance from the University of Maryland. A steward in her local community, she regularly volunteers at Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

HR Service Manager

Jennifer Archer brings more than 20 years of human resources experience to INFINITI HR. Though her experience is tied into multi-state sales, distribution, and manufacturing organizations, Jennifer has learned how to relate to all types of employee management challenges and deliver advice that is simple and actionable. She is a valued member of the team at our partner organization, Inspiring HR. Her leadership, analytical skills, and calming presence are true assets.

Whether you are looking to reduce turnover, expand business, or define processes and training across your organization, Jennifer brings a seasoned and proactive approach to increase ROI.

When she’s not developing front line manager orientations and sales trainee programs, Jennifer is developing something else: photographs. Her passion for HR is slightly rivaled by her passion for capturing beautiful images. She has a bachelor’s degree from Bradley University and resides in Richmond, Virginia.

Jennifer Hardesty

Implementation Manager

Jennifer Hardesty brings 15 years of human resources management experience to INFINITI HR; 10 of those years being in the PEO industry. She started her career as an HR generalist, touching on all aspects of HR including but not limited to benefits, payroll, bookkeeping, and employee relations. She then specialized her expertise and focused on payroll for one of the largest PEOs in the industry, BBSI. In this role, she managed the payroll processing of more than $60 million in annual gross payroll for nearly 100 clients.

Since joining INFINITI HR, she is focused on new client implementations and making the transition for new clients as seamless and efficient as possible. She has successfully implemented more than 300 clients including one that is thought to be the “biggest deal” in PEO history in 2018 with more than 400 million in annual payroll and more than 60,000 employees. In addition, she is growing and leading the implementation department that consists of six team members.

Jennifer has a degree in HR management from Towson University. She resides in Ellicott City, Maryland with her two girls who are three and five years old.

Client Services Manager

Joan Stewart

Client Services Manager

Joan Stewart joined INFINITI HR in 2016 as Client Services Manager, bringing more than 30 years of customer service and process improvement skills. She leads the dynamic client services and operations team. Joan works cross-functionally with all departments to ensure accurate processing and that clients’ engagements are delivered with the highest level of quality and service. Also serving as the company notary, Joan created a training program to cross-train all employees on the HRP/Prism System. She regularly works with company executives, strategic account leaders, and key customers to develop strategies for successful client engagements.

Prior to joining INFINITI HR, Joan served as an account services manager for Group Dental Services. Before that, she managed a customer service and administrative support team at Unum during a time when the company was undergoing massive growth.

Joan has a life and health license in the state of Maryland. She is a certified Associate Professional in Human Resources™, and has the following LOMA certifications: Associate Customer Service (ASC) and Associate, Insurance Agency Administration (AIAA). She currently resides in Rockville, Maryland.

Tax Manager

Raphael Kalu

Tax Manager

Raphael Kalu is tax manager for INFINITI HR. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of all employment-related taxes; maintenance of Mastertax software, and HRP payroll systems. Raphael is an integral player to the INFINITI HR team, serving as a central resource to payroll processing, sales, and other internal departments.

Raphael has 30+ years of experience in payroll tax reporting and compliance, working for payroll service bureaus and different companies across the country. He has held various payroll tax consultant roles and leadership positions at companies such as DHR Operations LLC, Payroll Experts, Compupay Inc., and Paylocity Corporation to name a few. He has lived in Florida, Arizona, Illinois, and North Carolina.

In 2015, he was awarded the US Department of Labor scholarship to participate in CPCC’s Regional Effort to Advance Charlotte IT (REACH IT) training initiative. Selected as one of 11 recipients from a pool of 75 applicants, Raphael received certification in SAS Base Programming.

Raphael has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Alabama. He now resides in the Columbia area in Maryland.

Sarah Frye is an accomplished entrepreneur and public relations specialist. She also wears many additional hats as a marketer, writer, networker, and as a business strategist/consultant. As owner of SF Consulting Services, she has succeeded in helping her clients reach their goals through national awards, media attention, and brand awareness. Frye works with clients from varying industries ranging from large public companies to small startups. She has experience working in leadership development, HR, e-commerce, energy, agriculture, legal, financial and professional services, and with franchises and more.

In addition to owning her own business, Frye is currently the vice president of marketing for the leading PEO INFINITI HR and joins Paylient in the same role. She is also on the Executive Council of the award-winning nonprofit, Bpeace and is an advisory board member for IncubateX_NFT, Shorline Ventures, and Entrepreneuron.

Her networking skills have been vital to the expansion of the many companies she has worked with. Some of her close connections include local chambers of commerce, youth initiative programs, nonprofits, entrepreneurial development organizations, and the media — all valuable contacts when aiming for business growth. These skills also pour over into her ability to skillfully generate positive publicity for her clients. Some notable media outlets she has utilized to help spread her client’s messages to millions across the globe include ABC World News, The Washington Post, NBC’s Today Show, Franchising Today, Forbes, Entrepreneur, and more.

As a writer and designer she has experience managing corporate communication including web content, media kits, newsletters, press releases, and other marketing materials. Her ability to understand a business is reflected through her compelling editorial pieces that demonstrate the efficiency needed to communicate important messages. Frye stays up to date with digital trends and effectively distributes quality content for clients via SEO and social media including through blogging, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Frye understands the inner workings of a business and knows what it takes to get noticed. As a consultant, she offers personalized attention, business strategy, and rapid customer service and uses her network of experts to promote companies to the best of her ability.

Frye has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Diego State and resides just outside of Chicago with her husband and three-year-old daughter Lelia.

Controller

Anthony (Tony) Terminiello serves as controller of INFINITI HR. In this role, he is responsible for the overall financial management including accounts receivable and accounts payable, analyzing financial information, auditing, reconciliations, budgeting, and banking and payment processing. Tony plays a key role with clients in regards to contractual and financial obligations.

He possesses a strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial administration, controls, and management reporting that has greatly contributed to the financial stability and success of INFINITI HR. Tony brings more than 20 years of accounting and financial experience to the team and drives results, excels at delivering exceptional customer service, and demonstrates success with team building across the financial function.

Tony has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Mount St. Mary’s College and an active real estate license in Maryland. He resides in Kensington, Maryland with wife Lisa and three daughters.
